Maternity Style - 37 Weeks Pregnant
Moving on from last week's somewhat dubious outfit choice, normal service is resumed and I'm pleased to share a maternity outfit that I'm actually prepared to wear out in public!
Today's outfit was shot on location at Coworth Park in Ascot. It is without doubt one of my favourite local hotels, set in 240 acres of stunning grounds, we visited a couple of weeks ago to celebrate my birthday and I couldn't resist making the most of the glorious weather and the amazing surroundings to take some outfit photos. I’m slightly concerned that any future outfit posts will look slightly lacklustre in comparison, but unfortunately I can’t spend every day at Coworth Park… unless they’d like to invite me to live there?!
My kimono was a birthday present from Mum and Dad, I spotted it in New Look, bought it and gave it to Mum to wrap for me... am I the only person that does this? It may mean I don't get too many surprises, but it does mean that I get things that I'll definitely wear/use and it makes my Mum's life easier, or so she says! It was the bright print that initially attracted me to the kimono, but the length was the real selling point. Much more flattering than a cut that finishes higher up and the lightweight fabric makes it an ideal cover-up for hotter days in the sun.
My under the bump jeans have inadvertently become my 'standard' maternity attire, with the exception of my maternity leggings, I've yet to find anything more comfortable and I refuse to buy more maternity clothes at this late stage.
The handbag is another birthday addition to my wardrobe from Dune. I simply couldn't resist the bold colours and I'm really pleased I didn't, perfect for sunny summer days out!
You may have noticed that my shoes haven't changed from the previous couple of outfit posts, this is as a result of my feet being about four-times their normal size and therefore making my choice of footwear somewhat limited. Thankfully these particular pumps from Next, which were previously too big, are now the perfect fit!
