Rob Pruitt Collaboration with Jimmy Choo

Angel Panda and Devil Panda, not the most traditional theme for an accessories collaboration, but when contemporary artist Rob Pruitt is involved it begins to make more sense. Pruitt has wielded his particular brand of iconoclastic humour and visual exuberance since he emerged on the New York art scene in the late ‘80s. From glittering panda bear paintings to large scale dégradé canvases with a scribble of human expression, to a silvered Andy Warhol monument on public view, Pruitt is known for producing art that is both playful and profound.

Jimmy Choo on New Bond Street

Last night I got to experience my first ever Fashion’s Night Out in London. Up until November I lived near Manchester, so travelling over 250 miles to London for an evening was out of the question. It was certainly an experience with a capital ‘E’! London’s most fashionable individuals swarmed all over Bond Street, causing traffic chaos as they queued to enter their favourite stores and enjoy the bubbling atmosphere.

my-wardrobe AW12 Showroom

I spent a delightful evening yesterday at my-wardrobe’s London headquarters, sipping Champagne, scoffing cupcakes and slowly working my way through the AW12 collections on display in their showroom. Surrounded by beautiful dresses, bold jewellery and statement bags was my idea of an evening well spent!

If there was any brand that I would be happy to see 24:7, it would be Jimmy Choo. And thanks to their new Stylemakers site my wish has been granted. The Stylemakers site allows you to upload photos of yourself wearing your favourite pair of Choo’s and share your personal style with Jimmy Choo fans internationally. You can upload photos from your desktop, post photos from Facebook and any photos you upload to Instagram and tag with #choo247 will also feed to the site. The site also features curated content with archive images of celebrities, ad campaigns and Jimmy Choo events and all the photos can be filtered by time of day and city.
